Museum of Azerbaijan's musical culture
The Azerbaijan State Museum of Musical Culture was established in 1967. The main goals and objectives of the museum: collection, storage, study and popularization of materials related to the musical history of Azerbaijan. More than 50 thousand exhibits are collected in the museum's funds. Among them are such national musical instruments as tar, kyamancha, saz, gaval, goshanagara, zurna, her, as well as unusual instruments like asatar, asa-saz, as well as gramophones, phonographs and gramophone records.

The Azerbaijan State Museum of Musical Culture was established in 1967. The main goals and objectives of the museum: collection, storage, study and popularization of materials related to the musical history of Azerbaijan.

The museum's funds have collected more than 56 thousand exhibits. Among them are such national musical instruments as tar, kyamancha, saz, gaval, goshanagara, zurna, her, as well as unusual instruments like asatar, asa-saz, as well as gramophones, phonographs and gramophone records. The museum contains the author's music manuscripts, records, personal belongings, posters, programs, photographs, works of art, notes, books and other artifacts dedicated or belonged to the founder of professional Azerbaijani music Uzeyir Hajibeyov, coryphaeus of the national professional vocal school Bulbul, outstanding composers Kara Karaev , Fikret Amirov, and others.

The museum also has the following branches:
- Permanent exposition of Azerbaijani folk musical instruments.
- Apartment-museum of Niyazi
- Apartment-museum of Vagif Mustafazadeh
- Apartment-museum of Kara Karaev
At the museum there is an ensemble of "Ancient Musical Instruments", consisting of 15 people.
The State Museum of Musical Culture of Azerbaijan from 1967 to 1996 was located in Icherisheher, in Karavansaray (Khagigat Rzayev Str., 9), from 1996 to 2015 it was located at the address: Rashida Bekhbudova, 7.
In 2015, the State Musical Culture Museum of Azerbaijan moved to the Museum Center (49 Neftyanikov Avenue). At the moment, work is underway to create a new exposition of the museum.
